The Campaign Update HIV is a global campaign to rethink and rename HIV. Update HIV Our campaign kicked off at the International AIDS Conference in Montreal Canada in August 2022. Previous Next In September of 2022, Update HIV visited New York during the UN General Assembly where the ohhh! foundation again met with key funders. Our Open Letter, published on World AIDS Day in newspapers around the world, was retweeted by the director general of the World Health Organization and read by thousands of people. In the spring of 2023, we started a social movement online that was kickstarted by a provocative live installation at Afrikaburn that literally put a flame to HIV stigma. Meanwhile, a parallel social experiment online demonstrated the kindness and sympathy we all need to fight HIV stigma. What's Next?
